Tickety (from Blues Clues) was our guest speaker this morning to introduce our new unit "Time". We'll be spending most of the month here, also including the Winter Olympics as we watch how the use of measuring time is used for many events.Our verse/s: Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 A Time for Everything. Verse 1: Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses. Verse 11: He has set the right time for everything. Verse 14: I know that everything God does will last forever.
We started with Micah taking a scavenger hunt around the house looking for all of our clocks (analog & digital), the kids making clocks, Micah reading Tick Tock by David K. Williams, and me reading Cluck O'Clock by Kes Gray (we'll be doing some activities with that one).
