One of the emphasized characteristics of Clifford is that he's KIND. That has been a focal point of our week in the scripture we've selected and when we prepared our lesson for the Barton Home. Thursday (9/3) was our scheduled September date to visit the Barton Home. We thought it would be fun (yes we, Micah helps in selecting our topics and preparing ... he gets a little nervous when we get there, but he's coming out of his shell and presenting every once in a while) to take some Clifford books and share some verses on 'kindness'. The Bible is full of kindness verses, so we narrowed it down to our favorite 7 which we are also spending time reading and digging into this week. Ours may vary in wording based upon versions. Romans 11:22; 2 Corinthians 6:6; Galatians 5:22 (Fruits of the Spirit); Titus 3:4; 2 Peter 1:7; Colossians 3:12 (which is our emphasis verse for the week); and Ephesians 2:7 (which was awesome to end with because it flows into sharing the gospel.Here's a picture of Micah explaining the parts where Clifford was being "kind".
