An Easter activity continues to thrive

While playing with the colored plastic eggs in the backyard we began a competition - who could roll their eggs down the slide and have it land the furthest away. We each had two eggs (Micah - green; Lilly - yellow; and Jodie - purple), would roll them and then celebrate for the winner of the round. It continued to expand and late last week we pulled out the measuring tape and began to measure the furthest one, then our competition was now against the "record". It's been an awesome way to bring in math - measuring/inches and feet (and even adding large numbers "how many inches did you beat me by Micah?". This is Micah measuring his furthest at 108 inches.
