Reusing milk jugs

We go through quite a lot of milk jugs, so this was an easy activity to prepare for. I poked holes and cut the circles, the kids decorated the jugs and our neighbor (Dave) sawed the bamboo rods. Matt purchased some bird seed and after putting it in the jugs the kids hung their birdfeeders in the garden. We have had tons of birds (probably the same ones over and over) flying into the garden for a snack/meal. We are all enjoying watching them through the kitchen windows and even while we are outside playing.
