Our first swim playdate of the season was our last playdate of the season with our friends the Sanfords. They are snowbirds (here in Phoenix for only 5 months of the year). We became aquainted with the Sanfords last winter but really got to know them this year. The boys are together in Sunday School on Sundays and Bible Study on Tuesdays. Mr. & Mrs. Sanford are members of the Strong Families Sunday School class that Matt and I attend. Andi (William's mom) and I were in the same class on Tuesday 
together and were able to get to know each other better also. We spent a few hours together swimming and enjoying lunch on the 15th of April. William and his parents drive back to South Dakota on April 27th. We will be staying in touch via email and snail mail (yes, a letter-writing penpal for first grade).
