Fun with 3-D shapes

Matt showed Micah how to draw some of the shapes into 3-D on the whiteboard.
One morning we used our overhead projector (a new classroom tool early this year) to view the 'nets' of 3-D shapes and their folded image. We later traced out those shapes and folded them to make our own.

Another project was reading 3-D books by Luana K. Mittens providing a definition and examples of 3-D objects. It was time for an indoor '3-D shape scavenger hunt'!
